From a very young age I was infactuated with animals. I'd do anything that I could to learn more and more about them. At nine I got to adopt my first set of cockatiels and I've been obsessed with birds ever since! Once I got on my own I started taking in rescues from many different situations and started to find ways to share my knowledge with others!
I want this to be a safe place where animal lovers can come to gain reputable information as well as to follow my journey of learning, failing and succeeding!
I will never claim to have the only answer for how to care for animals. I'm here to share my tips, tricks, and the journey of what I have learned over the last 15+ years of animal care
The number one thing to provide your animal a good life is to give them a healthy life!
Always consult a vet prior to major diet changes.
When people meet you and your animal, the love that shines from both is the biggest showcase of the life that you provide to the animal.
Never let anyone tell you that the animal is a lost cause. It just takes different techniques and ideas for some animals to adapt their behaviours than others. With life spans of 15-80 years, birds have a vast amount of time to learn.
